Arron Asham breaks hockey fighting rules

((ht: hockeyfights.com))

Hockey is a violent sport. It's a sport where guys fight to make a point and guys make a living off of it. Arron Asham of the Pittsburgh Penguins has been someone who has done it for years. Washington Capitals Jay Beagle, hasn't.

Beagle got upset about a shot from Asham along the boards. They go at it. Beagle gets a couple of early shots in before Asham drops him with a shot to the jaw.

What upset the Capitals is Asham's gesture after the fight. Alex Ovechkin called it "Not Respectful". You'll have to watch the video to see it. To his credit though, Asham apologized after the game, telling reporters it was "Classless".
