An east Georgia High School football coach was severely injured Friday night after he allegedly was beaten up by players from an opposing team.

WRDW-TV in Augusta, Georgia says that Warren County High School coach David Daniels has undergone multiple surgeries over the weekend after being beaten after the game by players from Hancock County High School.

Daniels apparently had major damage to his face and has crushed bones both above and below at least one eye.

The station says the Warren County School Board is meeting with the GBI and at this point charges have not been filed.

If this is true, there should be charges filed. The fact that it is now three days afterwards and none have been is amazing. We find it incredibly hard to believe "Nobody" saw any of this happen or "Nobody" is willing to talk about it.
