The question in Wisconsin high school legal circles was this...
When is four years actually four years...???
Apparently, for the folks at Shorewood-Messmer High, not this year...
Messwood, as it's conveniently called, finished the regular WIAA season at 4-4: good enough for a playoff berth. But with the WIAA, their view was that after Messwood pulled out of their original conference, they were still ineligible.
Messwood's claim was that they rejoined a conference and their ineligibility should have been wiped off the books...
The judge agreed...
