DEVELOPING: Texas A&M OL Dies In Car Crash

((HT: KBTX-TV))

Texas A&M offensive lineman Joseph Villavisencio died in a head-on car crash Thursday on his way home after the Aggies last practice in preparation for the bowl game played at Reliant Stadium on New Year's Eve Day in Houston.

Eyewitness reports say the senior swerved to avoid a buzzard and ended up head-on in the path of an 18-wheeler.

Here's TAMU AD Bill Byrne on Villavisencio's death...

"Joey V," as he was known on campus, had taken part in the team's presentation of gifts at the Twin City Mission in Bryan, Texas earlier in the day.

Villavisencio was a true senior radiological health engineering major at A&M.
