The Dancing Continues.......

OK so we missed a few yesterday. South Dakota State let us down and Colorado kept the Pac-12 alive.

Here's how we see Friday's NCAA Tournament second round games.

East Region:
#6 Cincinnati vs #11 Texas: Don't know what to make of Texas this year. The 'Horns are in but the Bearcats are a better team. Texas will have a short stay.
Cincinnati 64, Texas 51

#3 Florida State vs #14 St. Bonaventure: If Florida State is hitting their shots then the Seminoles have all the tools. FSU should move on.
Florida State 62, St. Bonaventure 49

Midwest Region:
#1 North Carolina vs #16 Vermont: What do you think?
North Carolina 88, Vermont 60

#8 Creighton vs #9 Alabama: We love this 8-9 match-up. Two evenly matched teams but Creighton's Doug McDermott will be the difference in the game.
Creighton 58, Alabama 56

#5 Temple vs #12 South Florida: We were very impressed with the Bulls in their First Four win over California. South Florida's defense was outstanding however, the Bulls have scoring issues. Temple should win this one.
Temple 67, South Florida 49

#4 Michigan vs #13 Ohio: It's so tempting to pick this 13-4 upset. MAC teams seem to always play over their heads when matched up against a Big 10 team. Michigan just has to many weapons.
Michigan 64, Ohio 59

#6 San Diego State vs #11 North Carolina State
Steve Fisher has done a great job with this year's Aztec team after losing so much talent. NC State is playing with a chip on their shoulder after losing to North Carolina in the ACC Tournament semifinals. Because of that and perhaps playing their best basketball of the season so far we like the Wolfpack in an upset.
NC State 65, San Diego State 60

#3 Georgetown vs #14 Belmont: Here's your upset today. We saw Belmont at the Atlantic Sun Tournament and were impressed with the Bruins. Rick Byrd is a solid coach and this will be the Bruins shining moment.
Belmont 59, Georgetown 57

#7 Saint Mary's vs #10 Purdue: Let's see how SMC's Matthew Dellavedova does against a physical Big Ten team. I think Dellavedova will do just fine.
Saint Mary's 72, Purdue 60

#2 Kansas vs #15 Detroit: Kansas always seems to have an unexplainable loss in the NCAA Tournament, this won't be one of them.
Kansas 75, Detroit 62

South Region
#7 Notre Dame vs #10 Xavier: Going with the Irish on this one.
Notre Dame 67, Xavier 61

#2 Duke vs #15 Lehigh: Duke wins this easily.
Duke 89, Lehigh 55

West Region
#1 Michigan State vs #16 LIU-Brooklyn: Sparty prevails
Michigan State 86, LIU-Brooklyn 66

#8 Memphis vs #9 Saint Louis: Tough pick, both teams evenly matched. We are going with the Billikens because we just have a hunch.
Saint Louis 61, Memphis 59

#7 Florida vs #10 Virginia: UVa loves to force teams to take outside jump shots. Florida's game is perimeter shooting. The Gators should prevail but those of us at the OSG HQ would like to see Virginia's Mike Scott have a great game on the national stage.
Florida 84, Virginia 76

#2 Missouri vs #15 Norfolk State: Easy win for the Tigers.
Mizzou 81, Norfolk State 57

There you go. Digest these and argue like hell with us if you must.
