OSG High: Bama Commit Henry Sets New Rushing Record

((HT: FirstCoastNews/Jacksonville))

Yulee ((FL)) High tailback Derrick Henry broke a 60-year-old record in high school football on his team's way to a playoff victory over Taylor County ((FL)) High Friday night...

Ken Hall played for SugarLand ((TX)) High and held the yardage record set in the early 1950's until Henry's 58-carry, 482-yard, 6TD performance to pass the old record of 11,232 career yards.

Henry now has 11,612 yards and 148 TDs- which is 6th on the career US list...

Here's FOSG's Dan Hicken and Chris Porter rolling those highlights...

Henry has rushed for over 100 yards in all 45 games he has played in, and set the Florida single-game record with a 510-yard performance earlier this year...

Yeah, Nick Saban would never want a piece of Henry's alleged talents...
