They Call Him The Bryz... Flyers Goalie Sounds Off...

((HT: CSN Philly))

Ilya Bryzgalov has been known for his, how do we say this, um... independence...

He naps on the bench and, allegedly, in team meetings.
He's a free spirit. And he doesn't care what you think...

Evidenced by his thoughts after the Philadelphia Flyers got to clean out their lockers and were reinforced by GM Paul Holmgren's thoughts that Peter Laviolette is still the head coach of the team...

Bryzgalov got to speak his peace one final time...

So, to recap...

Bryzgalov still has seven years and $34.5 million left on his nine-year contract. If the Flyers are fed up with him, the Flyers could use one of their amnesty buyouts on him.

In 40 games this season, he was 19-17 with a 2.79 goals against average and a .900 save percentage.

Which reminds the HQ of this...
