Jameis Winston Almost Answers Questions In FSU Hearing

When asked if he would go any further, he volunteered his version of verbal and physical agreement and stated the sex he had with his accuser two years ago was consensual.

Major Harding wrote in his letter to Winston when the proceeding was all over: "I do not find the credibility of one story substantially stronger than that of the other."

So, technically, the ploy worked even if it wasn't all that believable.

Winston's accuser could appeal or file a lawsuit and that may be the only way Winston would be compelled to answer any kind of question about the matter.
